Main Functions

Bridge Creation

  • Creates a bridge between the local machine and the Quad TEO AWS server.

Centralized Trace Server Connection

  • Connects to the centralized trace server to collect specific traces (if in scope).

Automatic Device Discovery

  • Automatically discovers new mobile devices when they are connected.
  • Creates a new Mobile ID on the WEB UI.
  • Certain fields will have to be manually edited if MSISDN is not found in the device.

Remote Mobile Phone Control

  • Allows remote control of mobile phones from any location via the QTEO UI interface.

How Quad TEO Agent Works

The Quad TEO Agent integrates advanced mechanisms to ensure efficient device management, communication, and monitoring.

1. SQS (Simple Queue Service) Integration

  • Utilizes Amazon SQS for reliable message handling between the agent and the Quad TEO AWS server.
  • Ensures messages are queued and processed in a robust and fail-safe manner.

2. Heartbeat Monitoring

  • Periodically sends heartbeat signals to confirm the agent is active and connected.
  • Enables the system to detect and respond to connection issues promptly.

3. Device Monitoring

  • Continuously tracks connected devices for:
  • Power State: Monitors whether devices are on, off, or charging.
  • Connectivity: Ensures devices remain properly connected.
  • Operational State: Verifies that devices are ready for testing or troubleshooting.
  • Logs all monitored data to a centralized dashboard for real-time visibility.
