QuadTEO Test Node Setup on MacOS¶

Use this guide when onboarding a new Mac or Mac mini as a QuadTEO Test Node.

Platform Requirements¶

macOS
Administrator access on the Mac
Apple ID access for installing Xcode from the App Store
Internet access through cable or reliable Wi-Fi
At least 1 GB free disk space for the agent
At least 8 GB RAM
USB hub connected to the Mac when mobile devices will be attached
Up to 6 phones connected per USB hub

Complete the macOS and Xcode preparation steps before installing the agent. This keeps the Test Node awake, allows iOS devices to be detected correctly, and prevents the agent from being interrupted during test execution.
